Sinopse: The CASAMENTAÇO is a social action of thyssenkrupp CSA, a Brazilian steel mill. It was developed to meet the needs of Santa Cruz region in Rio de Janeiro, where thyssenkrupp CSA is located. The project gained strength on social media and aroused the interest of Rio media, as it became the biggest community wedding of the West Region of Rio. On the day, 1,660 people got married but, due to the power of the project, it reached more than 500,000 people through social network and media outlets. CASAMENTAÇO (union of the words “wedding” and “steel” in Portuguese) is a superlative of the word “wedding. The idea was to produce a huge community wedding, promoting the union of thousands of people at the same time, and, through this effort, develop an alliance with thyssenkrupp CSA and its corporate social responsibility program.
