No mundo, apenas 7% sabem.

Sinopse em Inglês: BACKGOUND: In 2016, as part of Samsung Corporate Social Responsibility, Samsung Brazil developed one initiative to bring more accessibly to hearing impaired: Theater For All Ears. In 2018, Samsung wanted to expand this agenda. So they asked Cheil Brazil to develop a brand new project, now focused on visually impaired. The objective is to promote a better quality of life and accessibility through technology. Samsung wants to be seen as the brand that creates human-drive innovation that moves the world forward, allowing people to do what they can’t. The initiative should reinforce the brand line: Do What You Can’t. // STRATEGY: Besides all the difficulties already known, the visually impaired face another great challenge: social isolation. Most of the time, the visually impaired feel alone. Their social circle is restricted to the family and some friends: most of them visually impaired as well. And even in the family there is still a distance by the difference of realities. Therefore, more than accessibility, Cheil Brazil sought an idea that had the power to integrate visually impaired with others and promote social inclusion. The music was used as starting point because in short term, its has an unique ability to gather people and in the long term its a powerful therapeutical tool. Who plays an instrument, statistically increases their social circle. Through music and technology Samsung created new possibilities to visually impaired. // CREATIVE IDEA: Audio Chords transform popular music songs in such way that allows visually impaired to learn to play guitar by themselves, without the need of braille. Before learning to play guitar, a visually impaired needs to know braille. In the world, only 7% know. And for those who knows braille there is still a challenge: to read the score and play the guitar at the same time. Audio Chords is the first voice assistive technology for visually impaired to learn to play guitar without the need of braille. A voice guide dictates the chord at the exact moment it needs to be played. For beginners were developed an audio dictionary which teaches to play the chords. Audio Chords can be accessed in a 100% blind friendly platform, from anywhere.
